Terms & Conditions

Changes & Cancellations:

  • Tickets are nontransferable and name changes are not allowed
  • Flight changes may be made more that 8 days prior to flight for a $25.00 CDN + 5% GST fee per person
  • Cancellations made more than 8 days prior to departure date are subject to a $50.00 CDN per person + 5% GST fee
  • Cancellations made 2-7 days prior to departure date are subject to a $50.00 CDN per person + 5% GST fee with remaining amount held as Credit for future flights valid for 1 year.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to flight time are no refund, no credit.
  • No shows (10 minutes prior to scheduled departure times) are treated as a last minute cancellation and are non-refundable.

Flight delay/cancellation policy:

  • Flight delay/cancellation policy: There are times when we have flight delays or even flight cancellations due to a variety of reasons (weather, maintenance, airport closures, etc ) . We consider delays and cancellations seriously as we know you do. In the case of flight delays we will transport you as soon as possible by Air or by a combination of Air and Land Transportation. In the case of flight cancellations, we will rebook you at no charge on the next Orca Airways flight with available seats. If you choose not to accept theses alternate arrangements there will be no credit, no refund.

Check-In:

  • Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure. After 10 minutes, seats may be given away to stand-by guests.
  • Please bring photo ID when checking in.

Baggage:

  • You are welcome to bring 2 pieces of baggage, including carry-on, weighing collectively up to 30 lb/13.5 kg at no additional charge.
  • Additional weight will be charged at $1.00/lb ($2.20/Kg) as space allows; there are no guarantees of transport for extra baggage on the same flight as the passenger.
  • Oversized baggage (such as surf boards and golf clubs) will be charged a $50.00 + GST oversized baggage fee.

Unaccompanied Minors & Children:

  • A guardian must complete an unaccompanied minor form prior to departure. A Fee of $25.00 + GST is applicable per one way flight.
  • Both guardians dropping off and picking up the child must be listed on the unaccompanied minor form and must provide picture ID.
  • Children under the age of 23 months may travel at no cost as they do not require the use of a seat and are permitted to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. You will be required to provide ID as proof of infant's age (such as birth certificate or health card).
